In the heart of Verona, in a ancient palace, you may eat nice fish seated in skin armchair. They are welcoming and kind, the starters are in the best Italian style even to many, but very good. They are specialized in fish but not only, very original and good the cheese crisp. Improvable the wine list.

We had dinner at Ristorante Maria Callas in summer 2012. The hotel we stayed at was only a minute or two away, and after consulting Tripadvisor, we chose to dine at this restaurant. First impression counts for quite a lot - I loved entering via the big doorway. In the summer, they have tables in the courtyard with throws/fabric hanging... More

This restaurant was traditional Italian family restaurant with a couple of generations working there. We were treated extremely well and made to feel very welcome. We went with our two children 19 and 12 and we all enjoyed the food especially the lemon sorbet (it was to die for). We would definitely dine here again.

Food was average... But good value. Nice ambiance but dishes were very creamy and rich. 3 deserts are included in all in menu.seafood platter seemed to be the speciality.

Do not go here if you are not local/Italians! First we had problems getting a table because we had not booked a table even there were tables available. The manager gave us however a table. We ordered, as starter I ordered scampi. They served me escallops, I like escallops, but they were dry and tasteless! As maincourse I ordered ravioli,... More

Our dinner was highjacked by the restaurant and things just started arriving. This started by us agreeing to the mixed seafood antipasto which was beyond fabulous. Not your traditional 'order off the menu' experience, but we loved it. Service was efficient and friendly, and for Maria Callas fans, lots of memorabilia and 'Maria Callas Olive Oil'.

We found it just by chance. We had à marvellous food experience! Prosecco ons the house, suggestions off the meny- divine seafood, homemade pasta and the dolci- to die for. The atmosphere outside, romantic exotic! Not even expensive! Go there at once!

This was the last of our 5 dinners in Verona and the one we liked least. A short walk away from the main action there is a large garden with tables under different awnings/umbrellas and copious vegetation which should have been magical but did not work for us. Food and service OK but nothing special. Maybe we were just feeling... More

Recommended by hotel. It's in a large garden at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. But the garden was quite overgrown with umbrellas jammed into the vegetation, so lots of insects and increasing rather than reducing the humidity at the time. The food was average, the worst of the various restaurants we tried in our week in Verona, and quite... More
