I love the tiramisu so much..I don't mind eating it everyday.must try 2things in Venice, first is the gelato and second is the tiramisu.
This is the perfect stop for a drink and a snack. They serve a variety of wines, freshly squeezed juice, plus the usual coffees and other hot, and cold beverages. The owners, Vittorio and Francesco made us feel so welcome. By the end of our stay and numerous visits we almost felt like one of the locals. Although small, the... More
This is a small cafe/snack bar (wouldn't call it a restaurant nor a fast food place) hidden in the Castello area of Venice. It's situated in a square that was pretty quite at the time of our arrival. I read the reviews for the place and since we were nearby, we decided to pop-in, to hide from the sun for... More
This cafe serves great pastries and sandwiches. We stopped for a late lunch and were still accommodated. Serves beer as well as coffee. Tucked away in a corner of Campo Santa Marina. Friendly owner and reasonably priced by Venice standards.
Stumbled upon this cute little place when searching for a quick bite that wouldn't cost the earth! Great choice of homemade paninis, tartlets etc with cold beer and good, strong coffee... hosts were lovely and lots of friendly locals around. Would have gone for brunch everyday if we'd been staying longer.
Had a morning coffee here just near our hotel, and were happy with the coffee quality and service. Lots of locals there...a good stop if you're in need of espressi and a morning pick-me-up!
We only had coffee and breakfast-y goods (the croissants are fresh and flaky, which makes for an excellent egg sandwich), but that was enough to keep us coming back every morning for our week in Venice (the sweet-orange cream pastry is lush). We're not sure what the ginger connection is (that's what the name means in Italian) but there's something... More

Unfortunately we arrived a little before closing time however we still able to order a glass of Prosecco each. The welcome we received from the guys Francesco and Vittorio was second to none and it was obvious that... More
We found this place by chance. Well, that said… I had already checked the good reviews on here and I have to say I was not disappointed. By far the best service in Venice, these gentlemen were so friendly and would pay attention to anyone in this cosy café even when the place was full (of locals = good sign).... More
