Try to get there by 11:30. Later, expect to be cheek to jowl with neighborhood regulars, students, and, now, tourists who have read about it. I know this as I ate there a few times but also walked by it many times and it was always crowded around 12:00 to 1:00. If you get there after 12:00, expect to slowly... More

A great recommendation. Filled with trendy locals and a great way to watch people go by. Don't expect anything more than it is. It is simple with great wine, great vibe and cheap! A complete winner. Weekends are closed.

Cheap rolls that tasted great, friendly guys running it and glasses of pressecco for 90cents. Stand outside or sit on the church steps and enjoy a piece of real venice!

This tiny place was full of smelly older Italian men, like the equivilent of our greasy spoon cafes. Unnerving for a young lady like me but the experience was good. Yes the drinks are cheap, merlot 60cents, presecco 80cents BUT the servings are maybe 100ml maximum! So you need a few of them. The crusty rolls with parma ham, salami... More

Best bite, best wine, best price, best place to eat on the street. Station for mostly local students, youngsters and artistas. Get your bites and wines, hang out by the canal. Enjoy the view and check the people around. This is a real place for real people.

I had noted this from TripAdvisor & it was just a few minutes from our hotel. We looked in every day on our way back from a days exploring for a quick drink & mini sandwich. As previously stated, sarnie & 2 drinks e3. Have to say the sarnies are excellent - small but crusty bread absolutely packed with really... More

We stayed in a B&B 2 mins from here and stopped in several times. The owner even began to recognise us! This is a fantastic little bar for a glass of wine and a quick snack perched on the steps of the canal. In such an expensive city it was a treat to have this nearby!

This is a really fabulous little bar that is full of locals who will welcome you wholeheartedly and help you with your Italian. Two lovely glasses of Merlot, a couple of fresh salami bread rolls - all for 3 euros - excellent value and a great place to be.

Discovered Da Lele while wandering the neighborhood. Nothing fancy and certainly not a tourist crowd. Very friendly folks pouring nice wines at low prices - pretty much everything less than €1. Prosecco was surprisingly good. Some cocktails are available, but we stuck to wine. Even a small, tasty sandwich can be had for €1. Loved the crowd - ranged from... More

The food is very very very simple. Nothing to it. But if you want a cheap fuel stop only then this is your place. It is 90cents a sandwich OMG! so this place gets 4 stars on value basically. 2 mins from Piazzalle Roma but closed on Sunday
