.... in my opinion, anyway! It's a comfy and a homey place with the open forno (oven) so you can watch your pizza getting ready, and it's a real local treat for bargain prices.
This place is a real find and I can't stress enough how much you have got to visit this place if your in Venice or planning a trip to Venice. The pizzeria is not much to look at from the outside nor inside either the real magic comes when you order your food and actually taste it. Their is a... More
This is a very cosy restaurant, with great pizzas, smiling waiter, and superb antipasti. Excellent value for money. Great to find this in busy Venice.
The 12€ menu (primo, secundo and a drink) is definitely one of the cheapest in Venice, it is very typical and tasty.
I stumbled across this restaurant by chance while wandering around looking for a place to eat, and I'm glad I did. Polite service, decent food and very good prices, especially by Venetian standards. There is nice outdoor seating. I had a Regina pizza (and had leftovers), a lemon soda, and some bread and my bill was 13 euros.
Could not get in to the restaurant recommended by the hotel, and wandered across the Rialto bridge to see what we could find. Stumbled across this place after a few false starts, and have to say it was excellent value, particularly by Venice standards. Low cover charge, pasta was excellent, pizza good and cotelette well done as well, All 4... More
We found this place by accident while staying in Venice and ordered a pizza - which was outstanding! We came back the next day and tried some pasta, and it was even better! Absolutely outstanding cuisine, great service and it's pretty cheap (actually given that it's Venice, it's extremely cheap!) very recommendable!!
We were wandering around at 8.30 one Saturday evening near our accommodation and I noticed the set menu for 12 euros. A choice of 2 pastas, a choice of Fritto Misto or Chicken for secondi, Salad or hot chips, and water or soft drink. The food was great for the value, a lovely big fresh salad and friendly service.
We had a bad experience at Taverna da Baffo and came here for dinner instead. We were pleased to see the Trip Advisor sign in the window after we sat down. We had a great meal, inexpensive wine and beer for a good price. The place was hopping at 7:00 when we arrived. I had tortellini with spinach which was... More
Fantastic calzone and for 7 euro also one litre of white wine 7 brilliant tried other places near San Marco paid 12 for poor wine and 12 for a calzone which when heading back to the hotel I ended buying another from a take away. The last day we went back for lunch time and even a American was amazed... More
