We visited on the recommendation of friends. We sat at an outside table dodging the smoke from the diners around us and the persistent hawkers who interrupted every few minutes. We had a tomato salad which consisted of supermarket tomatoes straight from the fridge and were relatively tasteless. My wile had tagliatelle al ragu and myself a steak in Balsamic... More

You just must go. The owner, a lovely man with 80 years old, work yet with his wife and son, and they work very good. Taste the real typical food of Emilia Romagna, the pasta is made by himself. You go and you can create a good relationship with the owners, they are always more than happy to give us... More

Good central location, plain decor very close to Hotel Regina and mainly patronised by locals. Limited menu but very tasty food. We eat steak al balsamico and fillet, accompanied by prosecco, all tasty and closed dinner with creme caramel, really delicious. Fast service and very friendly especially the waiter from Moldavia (sorry forgot his name).

Family owned an managed great restaurant. Very simple decoration. However very lovely, similing family serving a very tasty food. Still not a touristic place, serving delicious local food. Highly recomended. Thank you to the family for two great delicious dinners.

Lovely dinner. No tourist, only local. Decor is basic but service is great and the food is amazing and very affordable. Try "steak al balsamico"... it is to die for! Tycical bologna desert "zuppa englese" and "creme brulée" are delicious!!

This is a great find in Bologna. Very inviting family run establishment. Very good quality traditional Bolognese food, with much more to the menu. Stefano makes you feel welcome and will remember you. We have been back several times. Value for money this is hard to beat.

We enjoyed a beautifully prepared, typical Bolognese dinner here - a real lift after a very frought journey to Bologna. Delicious Parma ham and other cold meats, home-made pasta in different sauces and a good, ultra-reasonably priced house wine by the carafe and kind, friendly but quiet service. An excellent, simple local trattoria which we recommend highly.

Although arrived quite late in a very busy night, the owner accepted us [we were the last to leave]. The service was perfect. They even took back my first dish because it had onion, which creates me problem, and replace it with another one. Tagliatelle ai Funghi [8,50eu], Tortellini Burro Salvia [8,50], Agnello al forno [12], Lingua bollita [9]. All were... More

Book your table or you'll be disappointed here. Very popular with locals and passing tourists looking for an unpretentious place to try some typical local dishes. Our meal was excellent: perfect tortellini in brodo - Bologna's signature dish, delicious tagliatelli al ragu, followed by rabbit and cotoletta alla bolognese. And we had a very good bottle of lambrusco - nothing... More
