Just go there. All the flavours and textures are marvelous, The benches outside in the shaded colonade enhance the langour and indulgence. There is no ability to review Rosticceria Castiglione (Gastronomia Castiglione) on the corner of Castiglione, Orfeo and Via Rialto ... but hey ... the rotisserie roast poulet is succulent, well-spiced ... mouthwatering. Go there.

Great gelato, deserving of its reputation, but very heavy, very sweet. Not necessarily my favorite, but a solid choice.

This is very good Gelato and definitely in my top pick of Gelato bars in Italy that I have tried. What can I say, go and try it, it is definitely worth it.

We all know, that the best ice cream in the world can only be found in Italy. As Bologna is the "Mecca" for fine food in Italy, it is not surprising, that the best ice cream in the country ( or world for that matter ) is also to be found in this wonderful city. It has a mainly local... More

Everything here is very authentic. You get all walks of life coming in here queing for their favourate ice creams and most of them are Italians. There are loads to choose from. Very clean place with a seating area whilst you wait. A very Italian experience.

It is a fair walk from the centre of town, but the ice cream here is worth it. The shop is easy to spot because of the number of happy customers milling around outside. Although there are no English translations, the staff can provide guidance as to the many sorts of ice cream hidden away in metal containers. Everyone has... More

Via Castiliogne is quite a long street, and the walk to this gelateria was oh-so-long to the point I actually thought I was getting lost. I finally found it, and boy, was the line long! Very good sign. They have a separate line where you have to pay first, get the receipt, then be served on the second line. They... More
