I was going to La Pergola with high expectations. The real experience exceeded all of them. The location is magic, with a wonderful view of Rome from the top of a hill. And the food is absolutely exceptional, definitely worth the 3 Michelin stars. We choose the tasting menu which includes 10 courses and a couple of extras. The execution... More

This is the only Michelin 3-star-rated restaurant in Rome. As we sat down to dinner, my dining companion asked me at how many 3-star establishments I had eaten. When I thought about it, I realized that La Pergola was my 12th such restaurant with half of them in Europe (4 in France) and the other half in the USA (4... More

After eating really mediocre food in Rome I was so delighted to stumble upon La Pergola. I was treated to a truly delicious meal with spectacular views of Vatican City and Rome. My taste buds are still thanking chef Beck. No wonder this is named the Best Restaurant in Rome.

This restaurant is advertised as the best restaurant in Rome and I have to agree. It's a delight to go a to place where five or six different waiters serve you during the course of the evening -- they even have a bread waiter! The first waiter escorted us to the balcony outside where he spent ten minutes pointing out... More

My husband and I were blown away by the whole package. The table, the view, the service, and the meal were such a treat. The richness of everything is euphoric. The water list is delightful, my brother recommended Lurisia before we went-perfect and on the lower price point end. The sommelier, Alessandro, directed us gently through intimidating encyclopedias of winds... More

This is by far worth a trip to Rome for! The dinner cost about 700.00 dollars for two and worth every penny. This would be the 2nd 3 michalin star restaurant I have had the pleasure of eating at. That had a water menu that you order off of....there must of been 100 to choose from! All I can say... More

My wife and i visited La Pergola on Saturday the 19th of April for dinner, we opted for the a la carte menu rather than the 9 course tasting menu. I had the foie gras parfait with toasted brioche (it was fabulous), my wife had the lobster (unfortunately, my wife does not like gelatin and this dish was full of... More

This is a very expensive restaurant that has won awards. The view is superb. The food was very good. The water menu was a nice touch as was the extensive choice of breads and wines. The desecrate service was beyond outstanding. It's worth a vist.

The tasting menu: 1. Marinated amberjack = The fish had a nice texture and was quite fresh. The liquid nitrogen was an interesting touch to say the least. As for the pink pomegranate snow, it tasted like shaved, unflavored ice to me and I didn’t understand what he was trying to achieve. 2. Grilled Oyster = I’m not sure if... More

If you want to have a great Euro-Italian dining experience just visit La Pergola. Superb dishes with great flavor and top presentation. No crazy experiments, but proven haute cuisine. INterior design old fashioned (but in good condition). In summer and in case of good weather..., book a table at the terrasse with great views over Rome. Great wine selection.
