We 've been here in an apparent next to this place for a whole week beginning of Octobre. Seen no activity and judging from the rubbish on the terrace it seems closed already for some time.
Tired, wet and hungry we looked up trip advisor for somewhere close, value for money n good food on Sunday nite! Found the place easy. Much to my feet and stumochs disbelief it was closed.
Our apartment was just down the road from Iari The Vino and we kept overlooking this spot. Finally decided to go at the last minute one night when we couldn't get reservations anywhere else and were pleasantly surprised. Canneloni and lasgane was plentiful and excellent, veal marsala was perfect and the pizza and calzone kept the kids happy. The swordfish,... More

If you get to meet Rocco , you will not only have great food and service but be engaged as well. He is delightful and added to the experience.
We stumbled onto this place for lunch after visiting the colosseum and Roman forum. We were concerned that it would be a tourist trap since it was so close to all the sites. Nothing could be further than the truth. We ordered the rigatoni carbonara with house wine. The food was not expensive at all. Two dishes, 1/2 Liter wine... More

In this case it just meant that we were being tourists and showed up early! The food is incredible - we had zero expectations and ordered way too much. As an example we... More
This restaurant is located near colosseum down a little side street. Outdoor covered seating area was very nice, service very good, and the food excellent. Pasta carbonara was delish as well as the risotto e funghi. I highly recommend this little restaurant as the food is great and the prices very reasonable.
