The food was ok but way to expensive. The staff missed some orders and had to come again to ask what we wanted. We also had to go to the bar to order drinks because they forgot.
Restaurant near the Trevi Fountain. Great location along the promenade. Friendly staff. Ate a pizza which was good. However, it was expensive to eat there. We only paid to had to pay 6 eur per person for bread that we did not get. Had to wait a long time to get service and pay
We ate here on our first night in Rome and I feel it was a combination of our unfamiliarity with the language/eating culture and the staff taking advantage of that. The prices were quite high for our budget but we were looking forward to eating in a typical restaurant. However, when the bill came it was for 92 euros! We... More
We had dinner in this restaurant in September. Restaurant is located not far from Trevi Fountain. This place is little bit more expensive compare to other restaurants around, but also looks nicer, white tablecloth place with beautiful décor in main dining room. It was 5 of us. We ordered some antipasti: mixed vegetables plate that was very nice, and artichoke.... More
Went twice on our trip. The chicken with potatoes was great, as was the bruschetta. Had great experience, though my bf is fluent in Italian. They also have the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen in rome.
You will read a lot of reviews on this restaurant so you need to know what you are getting into here. This restaurant does not have great food - it is average. The waiters are pretty bad as many note; but you are paying for the venue of sitting outside in Rome near the Trevi fountain with nice wine on... More
My wife and I recently had the misfortune to dine here. Being in the pedestrianised historic centre we were expecting an average meal and most likely somewhat overpriced, which is exactly what we received. The piece that took my breath away was the utter arrogance of the staff! First we were given a table crammed up against one of the... More
The restaurant is located strategically very close to Fontana di Trevi! There is also an outdoor area, delimited by flower pots which make it look like a small garden and provide enough separation from the crowds of tourists who walk by. Space outdoor is small but reasonably arranged. Some people may feel a little squeezed: don't look for too much... More
Our extended family of 10 walked in without a reservation. The staff quickly set a group table just inside. We were swarmed with excellent service. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and the wine recommendation was perfect. Afterwards, it was a nice stroll back to the Hotel Madrid just a few blocks away. We'd all go there again. No hesitation.
I agree with some of the other reviews here, "I don't understand the negative comments." My wife and I ate here four years ago and fell in love with the place. One of the waiters, Antonio treated us so well that on our second return trip to Rome we headed for this restaurant first night out. We love sitting outside... More
