Fantastic gellato in great variety next to my best pizzeria. On the way to the Piazza del Popolo....
After hearing this was considered to be the best gelato in Rome, we had to go. It's not far from the Vatican and with a relatively easy walk, you can see a less touristy district which is quiet and not full of people selling silk scarves, balls of goo and other tat. A more genuine part of town with a... More
It was one of those times that circumstances 'forced' me to choose another gelateria. I found this place as there were just too many people waiting at the Gelateria dei Gracchi (just around the corner) and tried their ice creams, which were...delicious, to say the least. Actually, this is also a "yogurteria" with frozen, yummy creamy yoghurts made with fresh... More
Loved the gelato we got in this gelateria which was about 10 / 15 minutes walk from the Vatican. My boyfriend and I both tried some unusual flavours. We both thought it was the best gelato we tried in Rome and very reasonably priced. There is no place to sit so you need to eat it outside.
My husband and I went here based on reviews we read, mainly because it carried more Sicilian flavored gelatos (cannoli, etc) then can be found elsewhere; also because review mentioned it had Sicilian/Italan pastries. Our hotel was quite a distance away (by Roma Termini) so we had to take cab. My husband called place first to ask how hard it... More
This place is a bit of the beaten track, but worth searching out if you visit the vatican, it's about 10 min walk from there. This was the best icecream I ate in Rome, a reasonable 2.5 euro for 2 scoops. unfurtunately nowhere near to sit down. I would advise having a cup rather than a cone as it does... More
Hard to find a bad gelato in Italy in general and particularly in Rome and on the other hand there are so many that are really good, that makes it hard to decide which is the best of all (besides that is a matter of individual taste after all). This gelateria has a great assortment (my wife and I tried... More
My husband and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. We originally found it based on a guidebook and later a friend's recommendation, and we usually eat gelato here at least twice a week. The service is very friendly, and the flavors are amazing. You can tell that the gelato is made using the freshest ingredients, and the flavors themselves are... More
Our guide Ivano took us to Gelarmony, when i asked him, a true Roman, what the best ice cream in Rome was. I can imagine he said it was this place, because the ice cream is indeed amazing. I took 4 scoops, dark chocolate, hazelnut, pistachio and cassata siciliana. All three were delicious. We each took 4 different flavors and... More
This was way better than Il gelato di San Crispino, at a quarter of the price of it and all the others near and around Via del Corso and the Trevi fountain, which is where all the tourists go. Gelarmony was full of locals and recommended by a local to me. I had been to Il gelato di San Crispino... More
