As we were looking for a seafood restaurant in the centre of Madrid, on walking distance from our hotel, we deceided to visit 'Marisqueria Ribeiro Do Mino'. Also it was important for us that the restaurant could be visited during the late hours because first we went to a soccergame. We arrived 11:30 PM on a Saturday evening but the... More

This was my favorite restaurant I ate at while in Madrid. The sea food tower was great. Lots of huge shrimp and crab. It gets messy but its worth it. The best pat was for two people it was 31 euros. In the states it would cost way more. Based on my experience in Madrid, I would make this a... More

With all the hype about this being the local's favorite and it's appearing on a list of the 10 best seafood places in Madrid, we were excited to try this local "gem." While the portions are generous and the service acceptable, there's a profound lack of seasoning: has anyone in Madrid ever heard of seasoning? The shrimp, crabs and barnacles... More

I had read of this place here in TripAdvisor, and I was pretty satisfied. The place is informal, let's say it's an evolution of the classic simple restaurant with limited amount of dishes that are typical. In Italy this would be an "osteria", hence don't expect high level service or environment. The place is crammed with simple tables, simple cutlery,... More

It's not exactly a romantic or flash place, but the food is just great and really cheap for what you get (Platter for 2 people 31 €) . You don't have to dress up, but I advise to make a reservation as it was really full when we've been there. If you like seafood and are in Madrid, you have... More

We love the seafood very much so this place was a grate choice to spend the evening. Only problem for us that non was speaking English but with the limited choic in menue choice was obviose :) PLace as such is a bit old but still ok. Goof indication that its full of locals so means price/qualty relation is right.

This is a plain, warm, bustling place, where they serve you great heaped platters of seafood: crab, crayfish, lots of prawns, all splendidly fresh. It's hard to see how this speciality can be done better, unless one looks for pomp and circumstance while splitting open some succulent leg. Wear informal clothing: this stuff is not easy to eat elegantly and... More

Ever since discovering Ribeira do Miño, my Spanish wife and I consider it the best seafood place in town. You WILL need reservations for lunch or for dinner. The place is intricate and cavernous and always full but the service is fast. The monstrous seafood platters (for two or for four) are delicious. We love the clams (any kind) and... More

A special place for seafood lovers. Very simple decor, but full of character. Bread, aioli, fresh mariscos, and a bottle of Martin Codax Albariño.... What else we need to be happy...

Not on the Tourist Path, and maybe that's a good thing. The welcome is warm, and the atmosphere speaks of good cooking. Not fancy, it's all about the food, and what food! Fresh and perfectly prepared, every dish we ordered. The wine list is limited, and some of the selections are amazingly well priced. Come enjoy!
