Tucked away with an unimposing frontage this local family run business is well worth a visit for an inexpensive but memorable meal. Imaginative menu options as well as the more standard local dishes are on offer.

Sitges has no shortage of fine restaurants and La Salseta ranks among the best we have been to. Toni was charming and helpful from start to finish -- even providing me a taste of some soup my wife was having when he saw that I was curious. As an act of ultimate kindness, Toni even encouraged some conversation in my... More

Having read several rave reviews about this restaurant we went in for dinner, it was very pleasant but not the best food I've eaten in Sitges. It was also quite expensive for what it was. Being someone who eats out and travels a lot I left feeling a little disappointed and wouldn't have gone back for a second visit had... More

Enjoy this excellent restaurant of Old Sitges with recognized quality food, "km. 0" meaning products from the region, an interesting and sorted wine menu, brilliant creations from the chef, and very important, a good reasonable price. We have spent some years visiting this place often and, honestly, we can't complain at all. They have always the same quality and priceless... More

We were keen to take our visiting (gourmet) friends from America to a genuine CATALAN restaurant in Sitges offering good food with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and were delighted with our choice. The staff were efficient and friendly and the food delicious. With plenty of choice, the tartar de Bacallá was wonderful, the Calamars and the Tronc de Rap. The... More

I know that this will be a restaurant I shall return to. The chicken croquettes were wonderful and the veal steak in pepper sauce was perfect. A half bottle of the house red (Penedes) was actually really good. It is clear that the management care a great deal about their food and this is evident in the taste.

Title says it all really. I had done some research on Sitges restaurants before going. I decided this was somewhere I had to go. Everything was good about the meal, in particular, my veal steak which was delicious. The wine list was nicely detailed and quite large. The service was friendly. The restaurant is nice and quiet and feel very... More

This is a restaurant from the Slow Food movement. That's nothing to do with the service, which was impeccable, but everything to do with how the food is grown or reared. Not in a hurry and locally sourced. Tartar Bacella and Filet Vedella a Pebre were first rate and the Blanc de pacs went down very well.

I have just returned from Sitges and ate at three very high quality restaurants but this was the best of them all. We went for my wife's 40th and was not disappointed at all. It's an small intimate place and the service is not over bearing. The food was impeccable, for starters we had the captatio and croquets and thought... More
