This restaurant was recommended by the guide we had for a 4 hour walk around Seville-and we were so glad she did. The food was delicious and so fresh tasting, and the guys who served us were delightful. It is in a handy location near the Cathedral. I'd happily recommend this for a casual meal while you are in Seville.

The food in this place is excellent. Modern, fusion. The salmorejo (thick cold soup) is delicious. Came here based on the trip reviews and enjoyed our meal. Had the oxtail which was excellent, spinach chickpeas which were very flavorful, meat paella which was well cooked but just ok, langostinos (king prawns) in garlic but they came out as small shrimp - misleading!!! The garlic sauce was excellent tho as was the sangria.

The restaurant in a tourist area though the food quality is far above average, the speed of serving is high enough, the portions are big and the meal is sophisticated and delicious. Give it a try!

Almiranta is located across the street from La Catedral. It has more of a cafeteria feeling. However, it offers tapas with a twist, more elaborate and with different ingredients. We ordered several and were pleased with them all. Very well prepared and delicious. Our favorite was the garnished duck. Waiters are prompt and friendly.

We have ordered bacallao, salmon, sirloin and duck... all were excelent.
