The Alfalfa is a tiny space with a massive fan base. If that sounds off-putting, it's really not. It has an amazing atmosphere and despite the size, it produces great tapas dishes from a minute kitchen, and very good wine by the glass. It is heaving by 9 o clock, but there's always room for one or two more and... More

The best tapas in town, excellent service, great place! Staff was very friendly, even though we were tourists. From the outside you wouldn't expect this!

The tapas they serve are not my kind of food!!! Many tapas with cheese and bread. The bar is very small when there are 10 people inside it is full. Altough it is advised in the Trotter guide it was a deception and we got the impression that they tricked us with the bill. Go to another tapa bar.....

Wandering around this morning we were looking for somewhere away from the main tourist spots, we stumbled upon Bar Alfalfa...loved the look of it so sat up at the counter, ordered the Andalusian breakfast which was Jamon/tomato toasted in a roll..Jamon in hubby's roll was a little chewy but otherwise great spot to watch from....had the best coffee so far... Went here severasl times during our stay. Always fun behind the bar combined with great professional skills. Very good food, excellent service, crazy music mix but most of all: having a good time. A must visit when in Sevila - though it might be tough to get in because it's loaded lots of times....

This place is tiny but the five of us were lucky to find space to squeeze in for a late lunch. Jamon and cheese with olives were excellent value. You have to shout your order to the bar staff who shout back when it's ready! But all good natured and a great tapas experience for us and the kids. Highly... More

We only had drinks here, but the food looks great as well. But as far as quintisenntial Sevilla bars, this is the top of the list, small cozy, jamons hanging, cruzcampo on tap. My top 3 places to hang out (barwise) in Seville

My favourite tapas bar in Sevilla. Quality food, tiny venue, great music. Try the Queso de cabra con salsa verde (a baked Goats cheese with salsa verde), Berenjenas Rusticas (grilled aubergine with mint, garlic and olive oil), manchego cheese, the olives, the list goes on. It was all delicious. Cosy atmosphere. You won't wait long for a table or bar... More

I would not go here for a meal, but it is great to have a snack and a couple glasses of wine. The drinks are good and inexpensive but the food is a bit pricier. The space is tiny and there is barely any room to stand, but if you can get a drink you realise it is good.

We went there because of the great reviews but found it overall disappointing. The food was nice but not amazing like some other places we have tried. Its a little too small with high stools to sit on. The staff were grumpy and unhelpful.
