Great German food and great Weihnstephan beer. I will come again. Not a tourist trap, just a good restaurant.
6 of us had dinner here and have to say really enjoyed it. I would say you need to book as the place was jammers on the Friday night we were there. We were down in the basement so even though it was busy and there was a constant buzz about the place the noise was nowhere near excessive and... More

We came here on a reccommendation and had the "Tiroler Brettljause" which is basicly cold meats, Pretzels, cheese speads, meat pate and breads. It all tasted great and the service couldnt have been better.
If you want superb German beer, reasonable food and impeccable service in the old cellar rooms with low arches and musten from another time, this is the place. The place invites you to a perfect combination of comfort and German beer hall atmosphere. Highly recommended.
The pub is in a lovely location on the Hackesche Hofe. They have a nice selection of beer (I tried the "traditional"- a slightly sweet dark beer, which was excellent. The selection on the menu is good, unless you're a vegetarian... we had cheese dumplings which were OK, but a bit too strong flavored in my opinion. The apple strudel,... More
On our 18 day visit from Frankfurt to Berlin via the Romantic Road and the Alps, this is the only restaurant we returned to for a second dinner. The veal bratwurst (as well as wall the sausages) are made especially for the restaurant by their own butcher. It was so good I just had to have it again. The apple... More
Good range of Weihenstephaner beers. Knowledgeable staff who know their products and are happy to recommend beers based on your personal taste. Food excellent. Tried the pork slices with crackling. Served with potato dumplings, sauerkraut with pieces of fried bacon and a brown beer gravy. Was so good that we spent the next two nights here. Had the pork knuckle... More
Visited with a few friends and didn't have to wait for a table. The staff were friendly and English speaking. The service was fast! The food was there within 7 minutes of ordering and had large portions. I would suggest the pork with crackle, yummy!
We had dinner in this place. The atmosphere was very nice and service was good altough slow. The food was resonable but no more and beer similar to other places around in Berlin.
