We liked the Winer Schnitzel, where a "small" size was more than enough. Food prices are low. Good selection of special austrian wines, like Rotgipfler. This is worth to try. But WARNING bring cash since they do not take credit cards !

We were back in Berlin a year after our first visit, when we discovered this restaurant and how good it is. It is still that good. We ate there twice. Service is impeccable, the food (Austrian) is excellent, and it is very reasonably priced when you consider the quality on offer. Try the goat cheese starter. Don't miss out on...

This restaurant is a must if you want German/Austrian traditional food. The food is great. You must have the Austrian potato ball that goes whit most of the disches. The staff is very competent and friendly.
Really hard to get a table here but we managed to! had such high expectations as came recommended by various sources and not a patch on the service and cuisine of Ottenthal, another Austrian restaurant in Berlin ... Look it up! Cosy and attractive atmosphere, smart and elegant .". But food was a big let down ... Cannot excuse any...

For my last meal in Berlin I decided to visit this little restaurant from the reviews here on trip advisor. I was not disappointed. Their food and service were great. I had the roast with dumplings and sauerkraut. It was delectable. Despite it looking a little overcast I chose to sit outside. It was lovely sitting out there on the...

From the moment we arrived here we were made to feel comfortable by the friendly staff. The food was really good - our group of four went with some of their Austrian speciality dishes and beers, and it was all well cooked and delicious. Service was pretty much perfect - attentive without hovering, very friendly, and the owner even did...

Perfect ambiance, perfect food, perfect austrian gastfreundschaft! It's just a little bit off the Kurfürstendamm. I had a table outside, on the sidewalk, under the trees, A little piece of paradise! A nice austrian oasis in Berlin. The beer is austrian too, and beware the Salzburger nockerl for dessert: it's huge and not for the weak-stomached!
came here with family and sat outside. the staff is friendly and informed...all recommendations were spot on. the food was excellent, the prices very reasonable, and just an all around very lovely experience. would definately recommend it and would definately go again if ever back in Berlin. Don't miss this one.
we ate supper at Nussbaumerin twice during our recent visit to Berlin. They kindly fitted us in the second time, despite being fully booked (note: reserve a table). It is a German / Austrian restaurant with unfussy decor, immaculate white linen, candles, and approximately 34 seats. The food was very good, particularly wiener schnitzel and a style they call 'Salzburg'...
