Schumann's has opened a little bar/lunch spot on Maffei Str. so this isn't the flagship bar. always packed with the "regulars" so we made a reservation to ensure a table. waiters were pleasantly efficient. salads were smallish but delicious and enough. we finished up with coffee and macaroons---i am usually not a fan of macaroons but these were the best!!

Outstanding setting in the beautiful Hofgarten. Beautiful, rationalist decor inside. Delicious fresh food, great drinks and cocktails, and a lovely ambiance. I adore this place. Can't wait to be back.

I had read reviews prior to going which in general seem to say: great quality, expensive and poor service. The cocktails (as well as the cheese and wine) are great. The price is not cheap but by no means to expensive for the quality on offer. 8 - 12 euro depending on the cocktail and munich is quite expensive anyway... More
