Enjoyed this restaurant! Good portions and nice food but we had better and cheaper food else where in Baden Baden.
I visited Baden-Baden on the end of October 2013. The weather was lovely, so we took the opportunity to have our lunch on the LOVELY terrace. The review: Service: The waiters were apathetic. From the moment we entered the restaurant until the moment we paid the bill. Only one young waiter that was serving the drinks and was smiling, the... More
Service was bit abrupt, even by German standards, though we were there in mid-October and the place wasn't crowded by any means. Beer was good--no real surprise there--and the food was simple, tasty, and well-presented. Pricey for what you get. And stick to the beer. Order a bottle of German red wine--don't know why you'd do that, but never mind--and... More
Extremely good quality food. Not expensive when you see how abundant the food is and the quality of service is excellent. Good beer!
This is a traditional restaurant offering good German food in various Bavarian rooms. You can decide also to go into the Löwenbräu cellar which is more intimate or enjoy your beed in the beer garden. So even groups will not have a problem to find a table (maybe except in high season). The food is good compare to the price,... More
Had a late dinner after the Baths. Lots of character and well prepared food. Easy walk from Hotel am markt.
Went in and waited 20 minutes for my party who were in the lower half. Lots of grilled meat and the waiters made sure we didn't run out of beer. Best for larger parties. If you're looking for a quiet candle lit gourmet meal you are most definitely going to be disappointed.
Well my husband had his first beer he couldn't finish. Watch out when you say yes to the large! Food was ok. I wanted to eat at La Casserole but when we opened the door it was like an oven. So, an outside venue was delightful and the live sax player added to the ambiance!
Good stuff: 1. It does what you expect from one of Germany's largest brewers. Good food, bit marked up for the experience of the leiderhosen etc but reasonable 2.Food is hearty to say the least - big portions. The pork knuckle was huge (although too heavily salted for my tastes) 3. beers are good (as you would expect) with a... More
Nice place to sit down and have a relaxing lunch after a morning of sightseeing. Good service and nice variety of food selections. We ordered 5 different selections and they were all good.
