The restaurant Le Pré d'Aval is unfortunately closed since the end of the summer. It has been bought over and reforms have turned it into a shop.
Absolutely a must, not to be missed both in summer and winter. We go there every summer at least twice with the family when we come. After a long day walking in the forest or skiing in Tignes in summer, definitely we stop by. I recommend taking both the fondue Savoyarde also the braserade also the raclette and the fondue... More
I stopped by at lunch during August to try the famous Brasserade. Wow, it was good! It had a little to much fire fuel for my liking but still was good!
As a frequent visitor, I find the food to be good and consistent. The atmosphere is convivial and family like. The waiters have been there for ever and couldn't be nicer. The restaurant is usually very crowded. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

For the last 2 years we've walked past this place and it was always busy so this year we thought we'd try it on our first night. From the outside it looks like a quaint little cafe. When you open the door, the waft of cheese greets you, as well as a fantastic apres ski ambiance. Everyone that goes here... More
The "Braserade de Bouef" is as good as you'll ever get, the accompanying gratin delicious. The owner is attentive and entertaining and his staff offer extremely efficient service. Booking essential even on weeknights off-season!
We had visited this place twice in our one week vacation. It is just in the center of the resort. Breserade and fondue were really delicious... It is one of the musts for a dinner in a Val disere vacation... Do not skip to make a reservation...
I have been there already 6 times the last 3 years and I like the place more a more; Casual, Good food, good service , pleasant and caring and generous owners and fairly priced.
