We went there with some business guests and they were absolutely delighted. If you really want to have a perfect dinner.... there you will find it. book a table in advance!!! it is difficult to get a table adhoc. everything from the hors d'ouvre to desert tastes just great and at the same time the service is very friendly and... Decided to try L'Affable and couldn't have been more pleased. We arrived around 7:30 and the place was empty and by 8:30-9:00 was almost full. The service was grand, very friendly waiters and well trained. The beer selection sucks but can't have everything. We all went with the menu option (42 euro for 3 course). It was split between fish... More

This restaurant was suggestd by our concierge at the JW Marriott Hotel. They were filled due to a convention group but they allowed us to sit at a small table in the rear of the very crowded room. I too have many diet restrictions and food allergies as well, but had no problems with anything I ordered when it was... More

What a pity that some staff just can't get it right! The manageress took our order, and as I have various dietary requirements and food intolerances, I had to be very specific about what I had to avoid. I even specified, once stating my intolerance to wheat and gluten, that should there be any croutons on the soup, they had... More

The hotel Le Canberra staff suggested this place. Not really big, and crowded, but cozy. You can select several creative French dishes, meat and fish. Everything good, excellent desserts.

On my previous visit to Cannes, i tried to book twice, but wasn't lucky, another trip, and we were third time lucky. It didn't disappoint, excellent food, great wine, and attentive service. This visit was in December, i would imagine in the summer months a more outside dining setting would be more appealing? Travelling down to Cannes from the UK,... More

Lunchtime on the second Wednesday in January and L'Affable's closely spaced tables are nearly full by 12.30pm. A well heeled, middle aged to elderly clientele. Two courses for 23€, three courses for 27€. Good choice for each course, generous portions, well presented.

Excellent food; modern, attractive interior. So why the poor review? Because this is NOT a place that produces a truly French dining experience - quiet, relaxing dining in at least a reasonably spacious environment. I've been in quieter Tokyo subway stations. So, if an incredible roar throughout your meal doesn't spoil your experience, this place DOES have very good food.... More

Our arrival was a little perturbing as there had been a mixup and our reservation was not held. However we stood our ground and the restaurant did their best and we were accommodated. At first we were in the entrance blocking the coats and some rest room access but all was solved by replacing a table for two with one... More

This is a great place for dinner in Cannes. Went there on a Saturday, please book in advance as it's pretty busy. The food is great. As an amateur chef myself, I picked up a couple of great ideas. Of course, their Grand Marnier Souflé serves commendation and respect, it is simply divine. Mental note to self : if you... More
