Last time we ate at the Puits St Jacques it had slipped badly but today we had one of our best ever meals there. The food was superlative and the service impeccable. Superb ingredients throughout, cocktails made using best ingredients also, no corner cutting. Everyone who eats here will know they have had the best at a very reasonable price.

We visit many restaurants all around the world, but we have been going regularly to this restaurant near Toulouse for about 13 years since 1999. It is, and always has been, outstanding. We still remember the watermelon carpaccio and edible 'stones' from Mugaritz. The incredible poached egg at Arzak's.
