I'd passed the restaurant and looked at the menu on more than one occasion and as a non meat eater I liked that there always appears to be fish on the menu. So after reading the reviews on this site we booked for 4 of us - 2 meat eaters, 2 non-meat eaters and were assured that there's always fish... More

I am making a reservation to go back in a week. I have eaten here twice and each time it was exceptional. A little bit hard to find as the street sign for the Rue du Docteur Bergounioux is up high and hard to see. It is off Rue de Gambetta toward Rue Nationale.

Sunday lunch 24-06-12. Pre-prandials : Kir served in cheap glasses. Whatever the wine was, was soundly trounced by an unwelcomely large dollop of what purported to be cassis. Her starter : Foie gras + things. The menu said mi-cuit but it came fridge-stiff. The apple segments (which were mi-cuit) redeemed the dish somewhat. His starter : Salad with crevettes +... More

To say this restaurant is well hidden is putting it mildly - but it's certainly worth the search. The rooms are small and the welcome is warm. Whether you have the 12€ or the 16€ menu for lunch, the choices are far better than many restaurants charging twice as much. It made a very pleasant change to have several fresh... More

The previous reviews are spot on. You should reserve. Small, intimate, excellent service, nothing super special - just a chef who understands flavours and simplicity. Ingrediants fresh; we were very happy.

Loved this place. It's in a small side street in the old part of Cahors. The welcome was warm, the rooms intimate, and the food delicious. The price for a three course meal was about fifteen euros with several choices for each course. All the food was local and fresh, including desserts warm from the oven which were difficult to... Recommended by Chez Pierre, we found the food and the service to be first class in every way. I loved the Pot au feu, poissons that was my main course, the starter was gorgeous and I was so undecided which of the many fantastic desserts on offer to order that the chef/patron gave me a sample of each. Great food... More

This modest but quite enjoyable restaurant is hidden away on a side street near the covered market. Nothing fancy, but simple, well-prepared home-cooked food. We had the 11.50 euro set menu lunch, which includes a entree, plat and dessert. The pumpkin soup was freshly made but perhaps could have benefited from a bit more spicing. The salad was large and...
