This is the place to go if you love duck. We each started with a salad, one being the hot goat cheese salad and the other the wild mushroom salad. As entrees we had the cassoulet au confit de canard and the whole duck breast with thin sliced potatoes and mushrooms. We shared a raspberry creme brulee for dessert. The... More

I had my birthday meal on our europe trip in Paris... Well, my wife wanted to know what I'd like and I told her the best foie gras there is. Well, this place certainly didn't disappoint. The starred restaurants were booked out well in advance, but the foie gras here really delivered and could very well stand with the best... More

Visited this restaurant on a sunny Friday in May. At around 1:15 p.m., the restaurant was still busy. My husband and I are foie gras fans so this was an easy choice for us. The owner was welcoming and luckily for us, spoke English. We both ordered the 2 options for "Huge Salads" on their menu. Since this was our... More

They only serve duck and duck related food here. The foie gras is available in four different preparations, try them. I had the duck stew la orange (daube canard orange) and it was excellent. The meat fell off the bone and the sauce was fantastic. This is a small place and reservations are recommended. If you need to go out... More

I'm generally prone to using an optimistic lens on life and superlative phrases so in writing this review for Au Petit Sud Ouest I'm struggling with taking things up a notch to communicate just how delightful and delicious our evening was last Friday night in Paris. I needed a central location and a private room for a group of ten... More

It's a sweet little place that's close to Eiffel Tower. The menu specializes on duck and Foe Gras. Service was excellent. We ordered two dishes of Foie Gras for Appetizers: 1). Salted semi-cooked Foie Gras - very good 2). Foie Gras with truffle sauce - This was good, but I preferred the other one more ps: make sure you try... More

I was not a big fan of Duck, but I guess now I am. I had the Duck stew with red wine sauce and it was amazing. My husband had the cabage stuffed with duck and it was also very good. The average price with wine, apetizer and desert is around Eur 40.

If you'd like to experience more duck options than you can imagine...go here! This place is awesome, a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and owner that is just the The sweetest lady you could ever meet. The ambiance is nice as well as most of the restaurant is covered with wine box tops, stone corks in addition to the... More

This small family owned restaurant was filled with locals the first night we went. We loved it so much we returned with friends a few days later. All things duck and goose. The pates and foi gras was superb. Every table had its own toaster and the bread was delicious. If you go, absolutely get the melt-in-your mouth mushrooms. The... More
