Description: The Mori Venice Bar is opposite the Paris stock exchange building in the 2nd district. This is an exceptional fine dining restaurant dedicated to the city of Venice. The interior has been designed by the famous French designer Philippe Stark and although modern, brings a little bit of Venice to Paris. The menu is full of fresh produce from the Venitian region. Italian specialities such as Tuna Carpaccio and Beef Scotona are on the menu along with dishes flavoured with the rare white truffle.

The place is really pleasant and not noisy. Concerning the waiters: you ask for still water, get sparkling ..they get mixed up when serving the dishes (never the right dish to the right guest). The food arrives rather cold. The spider crab was fresh and natural , the the veal liver venetian style, overcooked and no taste. Count more than... More

As has been said before the menu here in very complicated...we took ages to choose ( we too know Italian food very well) and am still not sure if I made the right choice. Truffle dishes were a bit tasteless and the cheese platter very ordinary. My veal was good though and the place itself is very nice. Service good... More

Superbe decor by Stark but this is it... The food is really average for that kind of high prices. The menu is very complicated, and trust me, I know food and especially Italian food... I had a veal tartar that was very dry, wonder what the chef did, probably nothing except putting the meat on the plate and adding 2... More

Went with my Italian mum and we had a lovely lunch... Had salad of artichokes and spaghetti alle vongole. Super fresh, extremely well presented. My mother had the fried selection of fish... Perfect portions all fish is so fresh and the service is very good. You can tell the waiter to make you a special dish that is not on... More

This was my second time at this restaurant and it was just as amazing as the first! Staff are professional, but at the same time warm and friendly, which is not always guaranteed in Paris. The choice of food imaginative and the presentation immaculate. The restaurant is very elegant and spotless. The atmosphere is more business-like than romantic. Prices are definitely... More

Overall impression was that the restaurant was elegant and Imaginative - totally Starck The table was set beautifully but the height of the table made it impossible for me to cross my legs under the table - uncomfortable The menu, although creative, was difficult to understand without explanation. I am, fairly, well travelled and acquainted with imaginative menus but this... More

Disappointed here. We were expecting something good. And inded, things started off very well. Warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff. Nearly a novelty for Paris. The menu is exciting. Unlike restaurants in Italy, Mori is not restricted to a regional cuisine, and the dishes span a broad range of Italian delicacies. Products are very carefully chosen, from the best producers... We love this restaurant! It instantly makes you feel like you're in Italy! The interior, designed by Philippe Starck, is fantastic and so are the courteous Italian waiters. The location, on a court, is a bit further away from most restaurants, but there is a subway stop on the square. The food was amazing, like only real Italians can make... More
