I was staying just around the corner from Le Reminet and after reading great reviews on TripAdvisor, as well as having a craving for oysters, I decided to walk over to Le Reminet. It is a very tiny and romantic restaurant, and although I didn't have a reservation I was quite early for dinner by Paris standards and the great... More

I am actually shocked at the wide ranging reviews of this restaurant.I am also not giving it an Excellent rating, although the food was of that calibre, but because of the crowded feel of the dining space. This restaurant was chosen based on a personal recomendation as well as TA reviews which oddly seemed more consistent back a few months ago.Reservations... More

This is the third time we have eaten here over the past three years. We normally reserve through thefork.com--the 40 percent discount makes it a good value. But this time, it was a last minute choice, so we paid full price. Luckily, we were seated upstairs. (I would never sit in the basement again.) The wait staff was friendly and... More

Tiny restaurant near Notre Dame. Romantic, candlelit with lots of institutional recommendations on the door (zagat, etc) and, thus lots of English speaking tourists. But the food was authentically nouvelle French and very good. We sampled both the sea bream and the veal, both done to perfection. The bill was about $150 for two with two glasses of wine (but... The ambience and service were very good here but the food was not. From our starter to our entrees, it was very disappointing. My husbands monk fish consisted of about 3 bites and was undercooked. The bacon it was wrapped in was raw. I had some sort of beef braised dish which basically was pot roast. Thank goodness with the... More

We booked with thefork.com months in advance. On this beautiful June evening we arrived at our reservation time and were taken down to a disgustingly damp and moldy smelling basement. We politely asked to be moved upstairs to the open air area and were declined. There were plenty of tables available and chose to go elsewhere and pay full price... More

We loved Le Reminet which happened to be right across the street from our rental apartment (a number of American and British apartment owners in this neighborhood we were told, so we weren't surprised to hear English.) Their prix fixe lunch in particular is a great value and based on our experience with it, we also booked our last dinner... More

Like many others, we chose this restaurant based on reviews. We booked through The Fork website and they had a 40% discount, which saved us 44 Euros off our dinner! We had an 8:00 reservation on a Monday night. We were immediately seated in the basement upon arrival which we found very quaint and romantic. Only one other couple was... More

Well, I guess TripAdvisor couldn't have a 100% record for us, forever. I have to agree with Gregory B's review further down; this was our worst meal in Paris, which was especially disappointing as it was our last night before we flew back home. Due to all the glowing reviews on TA, we made a reservation for 7pm Sunday night.... More

Le Reminet is a tiny, elegant restaurant on a quiet left bank side street. Three of us walked in without reservations fairly early in the evening and were lucky to get a table (the place filled up quickly). The spring menu is inventive and perfectly delicious. The wait staff is polite, warm, and very good at what they do.
