Description: Open until late every day, the Le R'Yves restaurant, bar and lounge is a cleverly designed Parisian restaurant, inspired by the style of the 1970's. Leather seating, golden toned alcoves and a light panelled bar area complete the space in which the ambience is warm and relaxing. Head Chef Didier Petin is at the helm of the kitchen and presents a creative menu featuring simple yet sophisticated cuisine. With 20 years of experience under his belt in well known restaurants such as La Fontaine Gaillon or Le Doyen á Paris, Petin takes inspiration from the cuisine of Asia and the Caribbean in his dishes, often using exotic spices and produce. Tuck into dishes such as tomato chutney with grilled olive oil bread; fillet of red mullet with aubergine crumble; chicken tandoori curry with cardamom infused rice and Black Angus entrecote steak. Desserts include roasted pineapple; rum juice and coriander cake and the unforgettable Jivara millefeuille. After dinner head to the lounge bar where you can chill out to the music and enjoy a drink or two.

We have been staying at this Marriott for a few years each time for more than a week. We decided this time to try the Hotel's restaurant for a change. What a mistake . The food was ok , nothing extraordinary. A little bit pricy and the service was very very slow. Our waiter came twice to get the order... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal & great service. The restaurant itself is very contemporary & has an upscale vibe.

Liked it, service was slow and took forever because they were understaffed. The food was good, nothing to write home about, but decent for hotel food. My kids liked it because of the french fries! My daughter had the salmon two nights in a row and loved it, my son had the steak and it was very good. I thought... More

This place is inside the Marriot Rive Gauche and is no better that the pizza joint across the street. I guess its a place to be seen for the socialites.

Inside the Marriott one finds a restaurant/ bistro. Being in Paris you might thing you would find some resemblance of french food. Ah, dream on. I asked for a simple vegetable soup (veloute) and it was impossible to eat!! Luckly they do not have a backery, so the bread is good!

Service was slow. It took 10 minutes to get a glass of water. The food is way overpriced and you might get a piece of bread with your entree if you are lucky ( I had to ask for it). I had the small scallops (6) served with a small vegetable for about 30 Euro. I had about 4 different... More

We ate here on our last day before flying home and found it to be very convenient. Food was good and the staff were very good as you would expect in a major hotel. It's maybe a little dear so if you have a choice go uptown.

You will need almost two hours to eat/dine here, they are not specially fast serving and cooking, but food is nice and service fine.
