Week before Easter so there wasn't much open in Chinon so booked this one online - wasn't disappointed. Food was excellent and the wine so good I went to the vineyard and bought a couple of cases the following day. Would recommend this restaurant but suggest booking ahead as I would expect it will be busy in the season

We had a great diner. I had scallops and my wife monkfish both excellent. The desserts, particularly the chocolate mousse with lavender ice-cream, amazing!! Is not cheap, but food of this quality in the US would cost more.

Wonderful food, very nice service. We came with two little kids, and the staff kindly helped us with the stroller and sitting. They had kids dishes as well. And the athmosphere... Ah, indeed annees 30. Don't miss it if you're in Chinon
