we had two three course meals. Which were terrible. The Tartarre the beef was uneatable and tasted after pure vinager and mustard. My Risotto was pure cream. The salads were not clean and had the same vinager dressing. Hands up for our waitress, who offerred some cheeses from the house. Ohja, wines are great!!

Dinner booked for 7.30pm saw us as the first into the restaurant. We were soon joined by others, but not by too many as winter in Dijon seems quiet. The blackboard menu was excellent and being able to go into the wine room and to select a bottle was fun. Friendly help was always at the ready. The snail cassoulet...

We had a lovely meal at La Fine Heure. Portions were quite big and were reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They offer an extensive wine list.

We dined at A Fine Heure on a Monday night in September. It was a quiet night but the food was excellent, an interesting selection of local wines and very good service from the charming maitre'd "Wendy". Highly recommended.
