Such a fine restaurant, nice team, nice surroundings in a cosy area of the city of Bordeaux... I took my mum for a special occasion and I have no regrets, I chose the perfect place for a cosy dinner in a warmly-decorated restaurant... Bravo!!!! We’ll come again soon until everyone around me has tasted this Chef’s fresh and inventive cuisine.

We had such an amazing dinner at Solena. Truly unique and delicious menu that my husband and I will forever remember. The Mont Rame white wine was fantastic and the "American breakfast desert" was oh so creative and yummy. We would wholeheartedly recommend!

A hidden gem....whilst walking away from Bordeaux's pedestrian district we started to wonder if the walk would be worth it. It definitely was! Tuna for starter, pork for main and delightful American style medley for dessert.

We came back last night to Solena after a while and we were more impressed than ever. We took the initiation menu at 41 Euros. First course tartare of Gambas delicious with tempura, then Iberia pig with aspargus and finally garigette strawberry with cottage cheese and ice cream. This was one of our best meal ever.

Best meal I had during a week in France. It's a bit off the beaten path, it seems, but SO worth the effort to find it. Everything I ate was knock-your-socks-off flavorful and beautifully presented. Get there before they start pulling down Michelin stars.

Best restaurant I found in Bordeaux during my one week trip to the city - and part of the trip's plan was to find good food. Impecable. Would not change anything. Small and cozy, welcoming people, and lovely food. Recommended.
