As we entered in this restaurant I just had the feeling to go back in time and going to eat in my grandma's house. You really feel like you are invited to someone's home and going to eat a great meal. The decoration is really pleasant and you may spend the entire meal finding new objects and details in all... We visited the restaurant on a busy Friday evening in December. Its interior is quirky, to say the least, lots of bric-a-brac on the walls and all available floor space. It is not pretentious in any way, but feels very comfortable and friendly. The place is run by what I assume is a husband and wife team, with her being... More

This place is small but perfectly formed. Warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere and great care given to the food. We particularly enjoyed the decoration, like being inside an antique-collector's home. Must book since tables are limited.

This was the best food we ate in 3 days in Colmar. Run by a couple, their menu is imaginative, the cooking exceptional. The owner knows everything about the wines of the region and she is delightful. We had for our 3 entrees scallops in mango sauce, ris de veau, and lanostino over monkfish. All three were excellent and beautifully... More

The first thing you notice are all the objects on display aroung the restaurant, my favourite could be seen from the terrace looking back - up on a balcony. Very good service is provided by a busy hostess who tried very hard to make sure we understood the menu and whose face lit up when we told her how much... More

If you visit Colmar, make sure to eat in this marvelous restaurant (for dinner, booking is mandatory). The cook in this restaurant is definitely a magician. We had lunch there: the "menu du jour" (daily changing menu) was a splendid terrine with salad as starter followed by a roasted pork with lots of mushrooms, fantastic vegetable sides and potatoes. All... More

We stumbled upon this place which is tucked between and around the streets of old town Colmar. We knew that it was rated #1. The female owner and male chef were very charming. The menu is limited. When we arrived we were the first to be seated. She took all the time of the day to chat with us and... More
