It was fate that we ate here recently. We were meant to visit here for our dinner but on the way up the town we stopped off somewhere else. So the following morning we were on the hunt for breakfast and this is where we...came and we were not disappointed. It was clean, the staff were polite and professional and the food was delicious. Been in a group of 6 we all ordered different breakfasts and they all were spot on. Would recommend the food here.More

Absolutely gorgeous meal. Staff were v friendly and welcoming. We had fillet steak and burger and both were great quality food and cooked perfectly. One of the nicest meals I've had out in a long time.

The food here was fantastic. I expected pub grub but The meal I had deserved 4 star status. The surroundings are somewhat incongruous with the food as we had a seat in the bar. Draught blowing in from the door and a sloping table. I...literally the could not believe the quality of the food. I has surf and turf which was excellent value at 24 euro. Chicken wings were also really good. This was definitely and surprisingly 10/10 for food if not quite the same for ambiance.More

My wife and I ordered MUSSELS for 13.50 Euros each. After I had to order our own beers the server brought us the mussels. The pot was only half filled, they were the smallest mussels we have ever seen, there was very little 'cream sauce',...no leeks and no garlic. The best part were the little bits of sausage at the bottom. We have had mussels in garlic and cream sauce at Kenny's in Lahinch and at O'Connor's Pub in Doolin. Both places served excellent mussels, very large, delicious, in a large pot with plenty of garlic in a white cream sauce, and we might add, far less expensive. If you visit Thomas Moore's we suggest that you do not order the mussels. We felt like we were violated and the management really did not care about what we thought about our meal. The server actually laughed at us. We'll never go back. We also told the front desk at the Talbot Hotel about our experience. M. Greg Miller Millersville, Pennsylvania, USAMore

We stayed in Wexford 2 nights, and ate in here both nights. Food was amazing, big portions and so tasty! Burgers, steak and curry were fab. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, special mention to Mark, for looking after us both nights! Atmosphere was warm...and welcoming, whilst adhering to social distancing measures. Ate here twice on our visit to wexford. Small but excellent menu. Had seafood special one night and was to die for. Perfectly cooked and flavoured seafood. Service great too. Staff attentive but not hovering! Good pint of Guinness too! Well worth a visit!

We recently had a large family celebration at the Thomas Moore Tavern. We had a perfect outdoor area with a canopy all to ourselves. The staff were brilliant all night (especially Pauline) and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. A group of us...even went back the next day for lunch and drinks because we knew we were guaranteed good food and a nice atmosphere. The food is amazing and very well priced. Definitely will be back again next time we are in Wexford Town or even close by. Really can't rate this place highly enough. They are managing these post covid times remarkably well.More
