Celebrated daughter's birthday there. Staff was courteous and the food was tasty. It was a little more expensive than Bar One and Cox's, our favorite.

Cant believe this place ranks below other restaurants in it's field. I have eaten here many times and I am never disapointed. The Daily Specials are great value and are of a very high standard. Find the staff quiet but friendly and on their toes. It is nicely decorated inside and there is an upstairs which would be great for... More

We had booked in last minute to a local hotel, we decided to take a walk about and we stumbled upon Portofino. We walked in and received a really warm welcome, we were taken straight to a table for two. The place was buzzing as it was a Bank Holiday Saturday. We ordered drinks and we had starters, main courses... More

We got a voucher for this restaurant from friends as a gift & I ended up fefling bad for them having wasted their money. Staff were appalling, unfriendly, ignorant with regards to the menu, no real clue as to what was available etc. Starters were ok, nothing exciting. I had pizza for main course & being an Italian restaurant I... More

Never had as bad an experience as this....hense why i am writing this review!!! Special Menu is obviously a way of drawing you in....the food is WAY over priced....the service staff just don't care...and you get charged for everything!! Food was tastey...but not worth the price...never again!!

Went to Portofinos Easter Sunday, dont know what has happeneed to this restaurant! Have been going for about 5 years & have always found it to be very good. The food this time was tasteless & the pizzas seemed to be a frozen variety with the toppings added later! Such a shame, needless to say wont be going back again!

Recommended to us by locals as well as couple staying at same hotel so we gave it a go. Nothing spectacular and quite small inside but good food and good value as we had a 4 course meal for 20 euro each. Would go again.
