In one sense the decoration is stripped back and bare , yet the atmosphere is cosy. The food quality is excellent . It is not haute cuisine , does not claim to be, but it is interesting and tasty. Prices are reasonable.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, no complaints. Would go back. Location is a bit far from town, but well worth the trip.

I visited eastern seaboard with friends for lunch recently. The menu is varied and cheap enough. I went for the pail of fried shrimp for a starter which was very nice but slightly bland, with a garlic dip. My main course was duck in gooseberry jam, confit which was cooked well with a melt in the mouth texture. The side... More

This is a nice restaurant, buzzy and lively. Its food is good, not by any means outstanding. The decor is pleasant, but it can be quite cold and the chairs are most uncomfortable. We had booked ahead and asked for a table close to the windows, but when we arrived we were given a table right beside the busy kitchen... More

Just been to the Eastern Seaboard and had to share our experience. The restaurant is brilliant, and the bar is great fun. Great quality food served promptly in a very busy restaurant. Everything in the restaurant has a touch of class to it. While the prices mean that it's not a regular visit, we certainly look forward to enjoying our... More

Food was average and portions small. The chicken wings were the strangest I have ever seen and no flavour. Rest was ok. Might go back but so many better choices in the area.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant when we were living in Drogheda and it has become our favorite restaurant.. We found that you need to make a reservation unless you don't mind eating at the bar.. Love the little loaf of bread with sunflower seeds that you get served while you decide what you're ordering.. My favorite starter... More
