Had lunch here with husband today. Food was fantastic, good size portions and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to going back again. Highly recommended. More

My wife and I popped into The Locke whilst visiting Limerick. We popped in for a quick bite and a pint and ended up staying the evening. The food was top class, I had fish and chips and my wife had an open sea food sandwhich which was delicous. There was plenty of sport on and the banter between the... More

Locke Bar & Oyster House Restaurant (eat upstairs or down) share the one kitchen under Ballymaloe trained Ross Kelly. Since he took over more than a year ago he has moved the food axis upwards whilst retaining a keen price point. I ate there every month October to December and found the tuck so good that his new Abbey Cookery... More

Special promotion for Munster Rugby match, - price of pint included with your meal. As we (ladies in the party) had wine, quite a few bottles, we did not use pint voucher. However, following day voucher was refused - in spite of all we spent previous day. It spoiled the experience, and was very shortsighted! More

It had the appearance of a poor Chinese restaurant but I don't think they normally seat there. We ordered a lamb shank and sea bass with scallop. I finished my shank but instantly regretted it. The shank was served... More

Dropped in to the Locke after staff at the nearby 'the bailey' bar recommended we go here for a late dinner. As it was well after 21:00hrs other bars had stopped doing food... staff were great and we had such a fantastic meal. I would recommend it highly and a big thanks for the recommendation... More

A friend and I were visiting from the states and we happened across Locke Bar on our way to see the local sites. We stopped in hoping to get some decent food and what we found blew our minds. The food was amazing (we had the Guinness Beef Casserole which was really a fancy name for a classy Shepard's Pie)... More
