The food is not very good which is a pity because it's a lovely looking place. I ordered medium steak...it was overdone & dry as was my husband's. Won't be back More

Went here with my girlfriend for an evening meal a few weeks back, when the restaurant was on the ground floor. I believe it has been moved upstairs since but anyways when I visited I can easily say that the food was the nicest I have ever head out in Limerick city. It was just superb. Great Service, Lovely atmosphere... More

Not the place it used to be. Recently visited with some friends. The Market Square is now upstairs in the Savoy Hotel. No atmosphere whatsoever, and very few customers, even though it was the run up to Christmas. Staff members did try hard and were very pleasant, but there is no connection with the customer. The set menu was good... More

I dined here a couple of weeks ago with friends and we truly had a wonderful evening. The service from start to finish was impeccable, the restaurant was beautifully atmospheric and the food was second to none. It is certainly a place where you would go for a special occasion. I am looking forward to returning and would highly recommend... More

We both had been to The Market Square before but not at it's new location.  From having studied and worked in Ireland's top hotels & restaurants the one thing I was so impressed with was the effort that this establishment is making  The food was flawless & it is clearly evident that the chefs are putting it up to everyone... We were lucky enough to catch the end of the Gourmet Limerick week whereby many Limerick restaurants present a special gourmet menu at a set price. Although the week was over we were still offered this special menu. It was a 5 course (and 5 star!) meal for €35, which was very reasonable. We received a trio of amuse bouche... More

We dined here last Saturday night and we had a truly wonderful dining experience. We both went for the five course menu and it was excellent from start to finish. The service was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. An amuse bouche was presented first & it was incredible: A plate with an Asparagus & Mushroom soup (divine), spoon of smoke trout... More

We ate in Market Square Brasserie on Saturday night - very impressive. We had a glass of Prosecco in The Savoy Hotel bar beforehand - good buzzy atmosphere. We then moved into the hotel restaurant - Market Square - which felt like stepping into a dimly lit dining room in the heart of Paris. (did not feel like a typical... More
