Good home cooked meal, nice friendly staff. Good menu, something to suit everyone. Only complaint was the deserts, could do with more of variety.

Went here on the recommendation of our hotel, a great Irish pub! Wish we had stayed for a meal as it all looked delicious.
What a great spot in the middle of town. Thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips and Guinness! The staff was very friendly.
Spent the May Bank holiday in Killarney on a visit full of variety!
Late nights, long walks, lots of beer and plenty of grub so a quiet meal and drink in Murphys was a delightful change of pace on the Sunday evening!
The staff were relaxed and competent, the grub hearty and hot, the beer and wine generous to say...

My husband and I ate here our first night in Killarney, which was our sixth night in Ireland on our second trip to this breathtaking country, and sadly we chose to eat at Murphy's. The atmosphere seemed good, the staff was decent but the food was mediocre at best and it quickly became apparent that we had stepped into a...

We wanted to go to a pub that offered food with drinks and the bartender at the hotel where we were staying, which didn't offer both together, recommended Murphy's so we went. It ended up being a great choice. We were in Ireland a week, and it was one of the highlights of the trip. The food was very good...

Table for 2, turned up at 21:30 when everywhere else was stopping service at 21:00. Murphy's was stopping officially at 21:30 but welcomed us. The food was lovely, hot, (haddock, pasta) and the honey&cumin salad dressing is astounding Good atmosphere, clean toilets Great hostess! 1 downside.... Not enough vegetarian options.

This is a typical Irish pub in Killarney. It was highly recommended by our hotel staff. It was everything we expected and more. It's not elegant. It's not 5-star. It's not even particularly romantic and certainly not quiet and serene. What it is, is a great spot to enjoy a genuine Irish pub experience. There was music. There was singling....

It has been one crazy long day starting in Co. Laois, through Kilkenny, Waterford, and a VERY windy/gusty drive through Cork and finally arriving in Killarney at our hotel. All we wanted was a pint at a local pub. Our hotel staff said the nearest was Murphy's, so my friend and I quickly took off around the corner. Inside the...
