Went here once with my girlfriend and it will be our last time. It was very over priced for a poor meal. The staff were friendly and welcomed us well. If you want to go eat along the salthill area, I would keep walking and not pick here. I don't know how this was received good reviews

I have been going here since my childhood and I still try to go here once a year. It's wholesome food nicely served by friendly staff and its good value too, especially the lunch menu.

We ate at Galleon's our first night in Galway based upon its Trip Advisor ranking. The service was very good--friendly and efficient. But the food itself was disappointing. I ordered an Irish stew that was incredibly bland and my husband ordered pork medallions that were overcooked. The place also lacked any real atmosphere, although it is family-friendly if you are... The food and the service were both excellent. We both had the Roast Beef Dinner and even indulged in dessert of sticky toffee pudding. It was all delicious and we would recommend this restaurant highly.

After arriving in Salthill in the early evening, we were told that this restaurant was a nice place to eat. We are so glad we took their advice. My husband had the seafood chowder and sea trout....he said if was great. Their whole menu was very clear on GF (gluten free) dishes and I was not disappointed. Roast beef medallions... More

Another great dinner experience in Ireland! Service was fast and friendly, very family-friendly environment. Had an excellent pasta dish, large glass of wine :) and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Would definitely dine here again when in the area.

So good was this restaurant we went two nights in a row. The seafood chowder was beautiful, and followed by the roast of the day and we could barely move. The customers are rather squashed in but it was a bank holiday weekend so very busy. Service was great, prompt and very friendly.
