We went into this little restaurant as it looked very small and cosy. We really enjoyed our food we did not enjoy listening to the conversations of the owner (/manager?) and while my bf was not bothered, I thought it ruined the atmosphere a bit. More

We had been to Druid Lane on a previous visit to Galway and was so impressed with the food and service that there was no hesitation in re-visiting when we there again with our daughter. Big mistake... the place was empty so no problem being seated, the waitress was pleasant, took our order but that is where it all went... More

My partner and I decided to eat in Druids Lane on Friday night. At 9pm we walked in to an empty restaurant, not a good sign but we always happy to give anywhere a chance. The starters we had were mussels and the chicken wings. The chicken wings were ok, just ok though and the mussels were bland and tasteless.... More

It was the opening of the galway oyster festival and every restaurant in town that we like to go was full and there were long queues..... This is a good thing, a chance to go somewhere new, to go somewhere you haven't been before and that's when we walked into Druid's Lane... To be perfectly honest I've walked past it... More

Came here famished at 9 at night after not eating since breakfast that morning. Ordered an order of the wings, delish and the 3 dips, again amazing. At the table we had orders of the fish and chips, chicken satay and chicken curry. All very good. More

My best friend and I recently popped into druids looking for what could be our new local... We had a quick peek at the menu and both decided that the carbonara special would satisfy both our hungry appetites... We were greeted an seated by the obviously new waitress, close to the small bar. so drinks to start... I was told... More

This little restaurant is down along the pedestrianised Quay St. where the crowds bustle up and down in their droves. They all have outdoor tables, and the Druid Lane had just one for four come free. We quickly looked at the public displayed menu, and while it might seem a little pricey for an afternoon meal, the place looked clean,... More

From the moment we set food in this place the woman running it held us in contempt, as if we were really putting her out by being there! She was so rude it was almost laughable. The food is expensive and bland. This is a perfect example of a restaurant just cashing in on their location on Quay Street in... More

Food was poor and very over priced. Steak was a bad quality and poorly cooked thin strip over a spoonfull of lumpy potatoes drowned in very peppery pepper sauce. Chicken was bland but al least eatable. Desert or bread and butter pudding was so hard I couldn't cut it. We sat upstairs where it was sweltering and stuffy. Will never... More
