This was a Restaurant we visited twice in January having passed it by in the past. Both our visits were well worthwhile. We particularly loved the layout of the restaurant over three rooms all slightly different, the back room with the fire was very welcoming on a cold evening. Food quality and presentation is excellent and very good value. Staff... More

Excellent service! Great price. We went on a Sunday evening and they had an early bird menu which at 8pm was still in effect. We both had a starter and a main course and we shared a dessert. Also one bottle of wine. The bill was less than 70.00euro. The food was good. I got the sirloin and it was... More

Stopped here by chance as I saw there was a large crowd inside on an otherwise deserted quay street . I got a great welcome as a lone diner. I had the early bird menu which is on for all of January for 19 euro/2 courses . I had Thai mussels which had just the right kick, got bread complimentary... More

We are from Galway and eat out every weekend. We had not been to Martine's for about 2 years because of bad experences before. We decided to try it again. Our table reservation was for 830pm and did not get seated until 915pm (although the restaurant was quiet!!) The Waitress explained the specials and was killed telling us how fabulous... More

On New Year's Eve 6 friends went here. It was all very relaxed, thought it would be quite rushed but it wasn't at all. The food is gorgeous. My friends were raving about the Green Thai Curry Mussels. But everything was lovely. Our waitress could not have been nicer. Two of the girls even asked to split a main course... More
