I booked the Unicorn Restaurant for myself and my husband last Saturday night for 9pm. I organized a babysitter and ensured we were on time. When we arrived there were people queued out the door and approximately 20 people were squashed inside the main door all waiting to be seated. There was nobody to greet us or to explain what... More

We had to wait almost an hour even if we had a reservation for dinner, they left us standing close to the drafty entrance door without an explanation nor any apology for the delay. The absolute average and overpriced food of course didn't make up for the long wait! On top of that they brought us something we never ordered... More

Recession does not affect this really great restaurant. It was fully booked throughout the week that we were there. No worries, we managed to get a table and enjoyed the delicious food. Italian style but also on the menu the famous Dublin Bay prawns (a bit pricy but worthwhile). The waiters are friendly, flexible and fully aware of the food... More

This is one of the longest standing Italian eateries in Dublin and a favourite of politicians and bankers. Don't let that put you off though as Giorgio and Jeff have created a relaxed bistro style atmosphere. The food here is very good. More

The Unicorn Café / Restaurant is just off of a lane not far from the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin. It is reminiscent of my memories of family eateries from long ago. Entering the restaurant one is immediately enveloped in a warm and friendly atmosphere, very conducive to the appetite. Diners will be happy with the diversity of the menu and... More
