Good place to go after a "feed" of pints with the boys. Not for the calory watchers.Tasty traditional fare. More

Enjoyed this and glad we booked it was packed after the Wales/Ireland match the tables are large so we shared with four boys from Cardiff who were good company the lamb and the chicken boxsty special hit the spot. As an aside there are many horror stories of drink prices in Dublin having visited a few 5 euro was the... More

This is a great choice for tourists looking for traditional Irish fare. We started with the Boxty platter to share, and followed with Gaelic Boxty and Chicken Boxty. I preferred the chicken - the sauce was delicious! I really liked the cozy, quaint feel to this restaurant and their focus on fresh, local ingredients. It was a really good choice... More

Been with friends several times in years, the first thing you appreciate entering Boxty's is that they really make you feel at home:smiles, polite suggestions, no waiters rushing or pressing at you. Talking about the food , Boxty's offers really what it claims : irish food at his best, you obviously will try boxties , i really dig them, but... More

i've eaten here several times and have not been disappointed. While it is geared for tourists (as is everything in the Temple Bar area), the food and atmosphere are great. The place is small and cozy and the service is friendly. They had a fire going in the dining room which was great on a cold, rainy night. Prices are... More

Of course this place focus' on the tourist market and it should being in the heart of Temple Bar. It is however, good food at reasonable prices. The menu has options for pretty much everyone. I have to say I love the boxty. Worth a trip. More

That is a lot, as I never eat at a restaurant mroe than once on a trip, usually. Cutest, nicest staff, and amazing food. I call this authentic... More

I went to dinner with my mom & sister while we were in Dublin. My mom is the one who found it, as she was dying to try boxty while we were there. It is now one of my favorite places in Dublin and I recommend it to everyone I know who is traveling to Dublin. Our waiter was excellent,... More

Have never had a bad experience here--if you like fish, do have the salmon boxty--it's a treat. A real peat fire and great waitstaff make this better than the average tourist trap in Temple Bar! More

By a country mile the best food we had during our visit to Dublin. We chanced upon the restaurant whilst walking through Temple Bar and what a winner! Superb atmosphere, knowledgeable waiting staff and just the best filet steak 'boxty', served in a potato pancake. To top it off at around 8:30pm a 3 piece Irish band arrived which made... More
