The pub had some hardened regulars. The restaurant upstairs was flat out. Great meals at a good price. Wine selection was good too. Best to book to avoid disappointment......it's popular

If I was forced to pick a negative about the Sussex it would be that the food is so good that it inhibits conversation at a family meal! The Sussex is on the top floor, and is a lovely up-scale bar and grill. We sat a a window seat but we could observe the kitchen staff prepare the meal. The mushroom soup was tasty as was the steak sandwich. The Sussex was a few blocks from St. Stephen's Green, a great place to relax after a hearty lunch.
