Ate here last year (Castleknock). I love pakistani food so was very excited to have a restaurant so close to home. I ordered a vegetarian dish that was offered as a side dish as my main course (this I had done previously and there was no problem). When the bill arrived I was charged a higher price then was quoted... More

Came here again, lovely ambiance as usual, good service and great food. Had the organic Spanish white wine and the desserts were yum.

It had it all: great choice, great service, great food, great location, great ambience, good value. Eight people, each wanting a different dish......no problem.

What a lovely Pakistani/Asian Restaurant - delicious food so fresh and tasty, would recommend the Bhuna Hoa Jhinga (Tiger Prawns) my mouth is watering as I type. Lovely atomsphere, friendly staff they have tables downstairs as well as up, so for a special occasion nice to have a upstairs table by the window, as you then have your delicious meal,... More

At the last minute, we decided to go for a Friday evening meal here as we had eaten here (Castleknock Restaurant) before. This time we went for the early bird menu. Exceptionally reasonable for the price - 4 courses for €20. However, whilst the starters were delicious, the main course I found to be a bit bland and the early... More

We have visited Okra many times as it is in our home town. From our very first visit the food has been an excellent selection of Pakistani and Indian specialities. The flawless and friendly service makes Okra a great place to relax in comfortable and ambient surroundings. Many times when I am far from there I wish for the welcome... More

We went to Okra in Castleknock the evening we got engaged, so we wanted something special. The restaurant is very nice, with classy decor and polite staff. The food, for me was so disappointing. I had the chicken korma, it was basically four pieces of chicken in w milky sauce, there weren't even vegetables in the bland sauce. Considering the... More

We have eaten in the Castleknock branch of this restaurant chain a number of times. On each occasion the food was excellent, staff extremely friendly and a real appreciation shown by them for your custom. Wine is also good value for money. Definitely a restaurant worth a visit.

The service was excellent with the various waiting staff all friendly and attentive. They had an easy manner that made you relaxed and made the whole experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was good mainly due to the decent music (not the usual horrid stuff you can get in Indian/Asian restaurants!). Food wise I would say I would go back but try... More
