Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and initially stopped into the Nancy Hands simply because it was nearby; however it has become a must stop for a meal and drink and have got there multiple times. It is surprisingly large and well maintained with a...great menu and service.More

We purchased tickets for the hop on hop off bus. While riding the first day, they told us it included a half pint of Guinness at Nancy Hands so we popped off for a quick drink, and I’m so glad we did. We traveled Ireland...for 9 days and sampled a pint at each bar we went to, but this was hands down the best pint we had—so smooth with no bitterness. The serving staff was nice, and the bar was lovely — lots of unique details. Definitely stop in here for a drink!More

We went because it offered a free drink if you had a Big Bus ticket however the drink is not the reason the come. The food was just outstanding. I had the Guinness Pie and it was tender and extremely flavorful. Wife had truffle fries...and they were out of this world. Food was so good we stayed most of the afternoon and had drinks. Away from the crowds and great service. Make your way here.More

The Caesar salad entree was big, but disappointing. The croutons were huge, the chicken was tiny, tough/dry, and scarce, the cos lettuce hadn't been cut, and the dressing overwhelmed everything. It was 14.50, but cost about 2.00 to make. The Asian noodle entree was tasty,...but half the size of the Caesar salad.More

Visited here on a Friday evening, what a quirky place to go, so full of character. So many things on the walls etc to look at. We both had the Steak and Guinness pie which was beautiful, followed by an apple crumble tart and a...sticky toffee pudding again both were lovely. Husband had a pint of Guinness which only comes from just across the road! Friendly staff would definitely visit again.More

We happened upon the place when looking for something to eat and so glad we did. It was very busy, but seating wasn’t a problem. The steak sandwich was just perfect and the service was quick and friendly. The perfect spot for a post zoo...feed!More

The inside is much bigger than you'd expect! Even though it was super busy the staff was on point, friendly and well organized. Great pub grub options. We had the roast of the day, which was juicy bacon wrapped chicken, the nacho's, which could have...fed a whole rugby team and the fish cakes. The latter lacked a bit in flavour but had great texture and was a surprisingly big portion. Would definitely go again as the food we saw leaving the kitchen, was mouth watering.More

5 stars We arrived late evening in Dublin and was looking for a place to eat and have a drink we came across this bar and was pleasently surprised by the old world interior and great staff. We ordered the cod but instead of the...chips we asked if we could have mashed potato and veg. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal the gravy with the potato was so good and we asked for a bag to bring left over fish etc as too much to eat at 1 sitting.More

I would highly recommend visiting Nancy Hands if you have the chance. The pub has great history and is only a stones throw away from phoenix park. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The food is...amazing I would recommend the chowder, but my whole family left happy with what we’ve they ordered. Beautiful venue and would have no problem recommending this to my friends and family. Will visit again.More

Dublin Airport us approx 15 to 20 minutes away by Taxi but this of course is highly dependent on the time of day. At rush hour it is a lottery but by evening time it's much easier to get about Dublin.
