While staying at the hotel, we ate 2 dinners at the restaurant. Our meals were delicious. Plenty of choices on the menu. Service was good. The restaurant became very busy later in the evening, so reservations are recommended. They also have a pre-theater menu from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

Went here as part of a large group which had been pre organised to go to the cocktail bar on the top floor. We arrived about 6pm on a Saturday evening and spent a large amount of the time waiting to order! There was one member of staff, who seemed to be training a female who was unable to take... More

22 St Stephens Green oozes with charm, class and history. The Cliff House stands on a late 17th century site that was once the home of the Earl of Shelbourne. Marine references within reminds one of its stellar sister and Michelin starred restaurant overlooking the sea down south in Ardmore. The restaurant is a stunning room, lovely and graceful with... We just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay at The Cliff Town House Hotel. It's a perfect mix of comfort along with old Georgian style. The staff is very nice and accommodating, especially Anne, who served our delicious and hearty breakfast each day (included in the price - great deal) and Laura, who helped print out documents and recommended... Had a family get together recently and went for the pre theatre option as we had a young baby with us. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, cheerful and professional and made us feel very welcome. The pre theatre menu is excellent value with a good choice of starters and main courses. Most of the party went for the... More

Excellent early bird menu - great value for money. We both had the smoked salmon to start - fantastic presentation and unique flavour, clour and texture. fellow diner discovered a hair on the plate, this was dealt with very professionally and there was a deduction from our bill - this was appreciated. We both chose fish dishes as main course... More

Dear Pixie067, Many thanks for the review. Again apologies. The hair was from a pastry brush, and it was discussed at length in the kitchen after service!. We are delighted that you enjoyed your meal regardless and look forward to welcoming you back. Kind regards, Paul Finegan, Manager, The Cliff Townhouse. More
