Visited with hubby prior to concert. first impressions were lovely, warm, cozy and friendly. Food was very tasty and prices ok. Tables little too close for my liking but I would return as overall it was very enjoyable and staff were very nice. More

I had tried Hugo's over 2 years ago and wasn't that bowled over by it but decided to give it another go, a few years on. Maybe a rugby night wasn't the best timing for a return visit as it was pretty busy and they didn't seem staffed to deal with it. Given the night that was in it the... More

We visited the day we got engaged so maybe we might have had a touch of the rose tinted glasses.... Anyway we really enjoyed Hugo's. Lovely staff made a point of individually congratulating us and gave us a few free glasses of bubbly too which was a nice touch. Food was very nice, prompt and efficient service and a lovely... More

First TimerUser: chips o tooleJoined 03/01/20120 reviews0 hats off 3.0I've been to Hugos many times over the last few years but I'll not be going back unless something changes. Last summer I would have give Hugos 5 out of 5 but since then the menu, food and service has all gone downhill. They used to do lovely double dip chips... More

A lovely atmosphere about this place and a great menu with plent of options. A lovely place to eat with live music on the night we were there. Really enjoyed the food, tables were located far enough apart so as not to be intrusive to other diners. All in all a lovely experience. More

I stumbled upon Hugo's while in Dublin early this month. The menu looked enticing, so I ventured in. I was seated immediately, and enjoyed my curry dish and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Service was friendly. Though I was alone, I didn't feel that way. Good vibe. Would love to visit again. More

Thank you to all the staff last night for a wonderful evening. We were well taken care of by both the lovely girls at reception and our very friendly waiter from Croatia. The early bird food was really very tasty and we had no complaints whats so ever. We never felt under pressure to vacate the table and we were... More

We came in on Monday at 4:30 PM. The restaurant was empty. Hugo's was one of the only restaurants serving food. They were serving a prix-fixe early bird menu, but we were just looking for a snack as we had dinner plans at L'Ecrivian later on. We sat right near the front window and enjoyed looking onto the street and... More

We were at Hugo's celebrating a friends birthday. The staff was very friendly and welcoming; however the waitress came back a few times to double check something about our order. One major let-down was a fact that they were all out of rose wine even though the menu lists two different types. Also our first choice of white wine was... More
