Perhaps in another time, or with another chef, Jacques was the fine dining that they claim to be worthy of a Michelin star, but when we visited we were not impressed with either the food or the service. I would recommend skipping Jacques, especially if you only have a night or two in Cork. More

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and always make a beeline for it when in Cork. The food is really very good indeed, especially fish or seafood. However, it is expensive and there is sometimes quite a long wait between courses or when waiting for the bill. I would recommend it for a special occasion. More

This restaurant has been serving top-notch food in Cork for over 30 years. It's warm,cosy and always inviting. No pretensions here. Food is top quality, cooked to perfection and very attractively presented. Generous portions. Wine-list is attractive and very well-priced....the house wine is excellent and affordable.
