This is located in city centre and offers morning coffee, brunch and lunch. Food is good and service is swift. Location is not great, Maylor street being a very ugly street. Nearest Car park is Merchants Quay car park, about 3 mins walk. More

What I like best about Continental is that it feels a little continental. It's not the kind of place where you're overwhelmed by the heating system or sound system as you enter - it's reminiscint of any neighbourhood restaurant in an edgy urban locality - informal and functional. Now, say what you like about Cork but it is edgier than... More

Having read the raving reviews I was looking forward to a nice evening out with my extended family. What a let down! Firstly, there was no a la carte menu, just a choice of 2 separate dinner menus. However I wasn't overly upset by that. My starter was ok, black pudding and bacon but no sauce so it was very... More

As we are concern about every customer that visits our restaurant we feel obligated to respond and comment on some of the points made. It is very common in many restaurants to offer set Christmas menu in the pre Christmas time (It Is the busiest time of the year). We are extremely proud off all ingredients we use in Continental.... First thing first, the hostess Agnes took a very good care of us even if the restaurant was busy, then the quality of the products was very good. Fresh and simple product that married together give a great dish. Thanks a lot, next time I come I will try the plaice ;) More

A good choice for lunch in Cork City. Kinda crowded but they work hard to make young families welcome. The prices are fair given that you can easily pay the same in 5 other restaurants all within a 5 minute walk and not get as decent quality food. The owner is also the manager and does some of the cooking,... More

I have to admit I am a regular at this place. It is one of my favourite city centre spots for coffee with chats and lunch. Situated on Maylor Street (the side street access to Debehams etc), this little gem is a bit hidden from the main drag but is a well-worth find. In here you will be met with... More

The pork sandwich - too less meat, raw potatoes and dry lettuce. I'm not happy with that food. More
