I love to go to the used book shop, Scéal Eile Books on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon and take them to the Gourmet Store settle into a sidewalk table and chair with a glass of wine while I thumb through my new finds. The service is perfectly... More

interesting to glance about the shop as you sip a coffee and fresh scone. Beer from Belgium, unusual wines and preserves from France.

the welcome the owner Ann gives to everyone is reason enough to call here. A small place that spill out onto the pavement. The food - salads and rolls, soup etc is always lovely, the desserts are beautifully cruel. People are friendly here.

It doesn't have the look of a restaurant but they had tapas on their menu so we enquired. A very nice gentleman came out to greet us and brought us inside to show us their... More

If it's an unusual ingredient you seek, particularly for a French recipe - try Ennis Gourmet, they'll likely have it. Wines, cheeses, sweets, bistro offerings and tea and coffee. And tables outside on pleasant days, on a quiet street in a sun-filled square.
