We have eaten at Ted's Bakery several times now and have not been disappointed. I loved the garlic shrimp, the best when I compared to Romy's and Kahuku Grill. Kuhuku Grill had the best grilled local fish and coconut shrimp. We also enjoyed the Mahi Mahi sandwich and fries at Teds. We have stopped by a few times for coffee... More

If you enjoy eating overpriced sugar-coated baked goods on a busy highway amongst the aroma of rancid trash and starving cats, then Ted's Bakery is for you. Otherwise, I would suggest avoiding it. No decaf and no scones available. The place was so hyped by the locals, but is a really disgusting dump, not to mention really expensive for gas... More

Looking for a birthday cake for hubby' s birthday today and everyone recommend Ted's. We could have chosen a slice of many different kinds of cake or pie, but the big cakes lured us in. We chose the Chocolate Haupia (coconut) cake for about $13.00. It was light, creamy, delicious without being overly sweet. Also chose a Pineapple Muffin with... More

They are famous for their chocolate haupia pie. haupia is a coconut-based desert. I wasn't that impressed with the pie, but I am not a huge coconut fan. I was impressed with the food. My wife and I split the Ted Combo or whatever it was called. It had some good meat (teri beef, spam, chicken katsu, etc) and we couldn't... More

The weird thing about this place is that they charge more for their own products that can be bought more cheaply at a local grocery store. We bought a slice of their Chocolate Haupia Cream Pie (which was very good, I might add). About an hour later, we stopped by the Malama Market grocery store in Haleiwa and found the... More

Everyone talks about this place, and for good reason. Its a cute little cafe with great food and cheap prices. It was convenient to our hotel, and on the way to Honolulu.

Ted's is a great little out place to stop for breakfast, lunch or an evening snack. We drove by it 3 or 4 times before we realized what it was. We stopped in and had a pleasant surprise. The pasteries were wonderful. It was great place to take a few minutes and enjoy the food and people watch.

This is a small hole in the wall. No plce to sit and eat inside, but there are tables outside. The food is not prepared until you order. There is alot on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. We ate there for breakfast once and lunch. It is just a few miles from Turtle Bay.
